We’re excited to announce a new version release of the SQLTools VS Code extension.
SQLTools connects VS Code users to the most commonly used databases using drivers, including InterSystems IRIS. With almost 5 million downloads, it is helping users work with their data much more easily. Version 0.28.4 is now available and includes:
* More flexibility: sessionFilesFolder can now be relative to the workspace.
* Better SQL Console behavior: The tab now opens only when you run a query.
* New setting: sqltools.results.showConsoleOnError for improved error handling.
* Multiple MSSQL driver improvements and a major bug fix.
* Upgrades to Node v20, SQLite, MySQL, and other dependencies for better performance and security.
We’re also celebrating four new contributors to the project, adding to our brilliant community of users and contributors.
