Our Advanced ObjectScript Development training course showcases some of the extensive features of Visual Studio Code. Our interactive webinar will show participants how to utilize VS Code capabilities for a more advanced development environment, instead of using VS Code as a simple substitute for InterSystems Studio.
Who should attend?
This course suits users who have migrated from InterSystems Studio or completed our Fundamentals course and want to make the most of VS Code.
This course will also help VS Code users new to InterSystems Data Platforms understand how InterSystems IRIS fits with VS Code.
Course objectives
On completing this course, participants will have a deeper understanding of the benefits VS Code offers. This means working in a more efficient development environment than InterSystems Studio, and being able to work in coding languages beyond ObjectScript.
Prerequisites
It is assumed that all participants will have a basic knowledge of VS Code.
Access to an instance of InterSystems IRIS, HealthShare, or Caché 2016.2 or later that can be used during the course.
We recommend that you check before the session that you have the necessary permissions to download and install VS Code and extensions. Email us if you need help with how to check this.
