Labels

Home > Understanding Deltanji > Concepts > Labels

A label is a single-version library-view location containing a set of object versions. It is created from an existing location of the same type, and by default contains all the object versions that were present at the originating location at the time of creation.

A label is normally read-only, meaning that the set of object versions it contains does not change after creation.

For organizational purposes labels are appended to one or more location lists when they are created.
